Can I join if I’m a complete beginner?

Yes. The program is open to all Spanish levels, from complete beginners to advanced students. Before starting, we’ll assess your level to make sure you join the most appropriate group.

How do the Spanish levels work?

Our Spanish levels follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), from A1 to C2. Each level takes approximately four months to complete, allowing you to progress gradually while developing your speaking, listening, grammar and vocabulary skills.

At the end of each level, you’ll take a level assessment to make sure you’re ready to move on to the next one. This helps us ensure that you have built a solid foundation before continuing your Spanish journey.

Are class materials included?

Yes. All class materials are included in your program. You’ll receive one course book each month, selected according to your Spanish level and progress, so there are no additional material costs.

How many students are in each class?

Groups have a maximum of 7 students, allowing plenty of opportunities to speak, participate and receive personalized feedback from your teacher.

Can I add private Spanish classes to my program?

Yes. Students enrolled in our Spanish for Expats group program can add private Spanish classes for a special rate of $18 per hour. This rate is available exclusively while you are actively enrolled in the group program, making it easy to get extra one-on-one support whenever you need it.

Can I join activities and meet other students outside my class?

Yes. As a Peru Spanish student, you can join our cultural and social activities and connect with students from other programs. It’s a great way to practice Spanish naturally, meet people and become part of our international community in Lima.
